Skylark Hospitality is supporting the launch of an ambitious new restaurant opening in London this summer, and we are now searching for a Head Chef to lead the kitchen from pre-opening through to launch and long-term operation.

This is a senior appointment for a chef who combines strong culinary standards with calm, structured leadership and a genuine understanding of modern London hospitality.

The concept will focus on high-quality seasonal cooking, strong sourcing relationships, and a service style built around consistency, energy, and attention to detail.

The Role:

As Head Chef, you will take ownership of the kitchen operation, including:

• Leading all pre-opening kitchen preparation and recruitment

• Building and developing the opening brigade

• Creating and maintaining high food standards across service

• Managing GP, labour, ordering, and kitchen systems

• Overseeing all HACCP procedures and ensuring full food safety compliance

• Working closely with ownership and senior management on concept development

• Delivering a positive and professional kitchen culture

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous 3 years experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef within premium restaurants

• Understands the pace and standards of the London market

• Has strong knowledge of HACCP and kitchen compliance procedures

• Can lead teams with structure, professionalism, and consistency

• Is commercially aware without compromising quality

• Enjoys building teams and being part of a long-term project
