HEAD CHEF - NEW OPENING
Up to 80,000 per Annum + Service Charge
Skylark Hospitality is supporting the launch of an ambitious new restaurant opening in London this summer, and we are now searching for a Head Chef to lead the kitchen from pre-opening through to launch and long-term operation.
This is a senior appointment for a chef who combines strong culinary standards with calm, structured leadership and a genuine understanding of modern London hospitality.
The concept will focus on high-quality seasonal cooking, strong sourcing relationships, and a service style built around consistency, energy, and attention to detail.
The Role:
As Head Chef, you will take ownership of the kitchen operation, including:
Leading all pre-opening kitchen preparation and recruitment
Building and developing the opening brigade
Creating and maintaining high food standards across service
Managing GP, labour, ordering, and kitchen systems
Overseeing all HACCP procedures and ensuring full food safety compliance
Working closely with ownership and senior management on concept development
Delivering a positive and professional kitchen culture
We are looking for someone who:
Has previous 3 years experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef within premium restaurants
Understands the pace and standards of the London market
Has strong knowledge of HACCP and kitchen compliance procedures
Can lead teams with structure, professionalism, and consistency
Is commercially aware without compromising quality
Enjoys building teams and being part of a long-term project
