Experienced Operations Director – Restaurant Group

£120,000 - £150,000 per annum, Coven Garden, London, UK

Our client is fast growing Restaurant group in central London is seeking for an experienced Operations Director to help scale the business.

Be a leading force in the role of a Restaurant OperationsIdeal candidates will have at least 5 years of experience, preferably within a fine dining environment in London hospitality venues. As a member of the culinary leadership team, this individual must be an independent worker and possess proven management skills. In addition to Senior Management skills, the ideal candidate must have strong interpersonal and communication skills and the desire to grow the business and contribute.

The selected candidate will be working alongside the Owner to oversee the group's restaurants day-to-day operations.

We are searching for a dynamic, positive Operations Director with:

  • 5+ years’ experience in fine dining restaurant operations (preferably based in London).

  • Russian speaker

  • A dynamic, positive personality that is ambitious and self-motivated

  • A proven track record of success with reputable restaurant companies/hospitality groups, preferably within a fine dining environment.

  • High standards and an impressive sense of urgency

  • A genuine desire to take the business to the next level

  • The ability to support multiple managers to help them build and run successful

The Role:

  • Execute established brand standards as well as identify opportunities to grow revenue and exceed customer satisfaction across three restaurants.

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of existing and upcoming restaurants, ensuring consistently high-quality service, staffing, scheduling, inventory management, quality control, and compliance.

  • Explore initiatives for continuous improvement in operational efficiency, employee productivity, and guest satisfaction.

  • Prepare and manage monthly operating budgets for each restaurant, with a focus on achieving revenue and profit targets.

  • Work closely with the owner and accounts team to manage budgets, control costs, and improve profitability across the restaurants.

  • Identify opportunities for expansion, renovations, or improvements to drive business growth.

  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, finance, and HR, to streamline operations and enhance overall business performance.

  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
